For 2024, I've decided to focus on my own learning and development to increase the value I can bring to any Information Security program.
Along with regular blog posts over on Megabytes & Me , I'll be achieving the below main goal milestones:
H1 - Passing the CISSP exam.
H2 - The development of a self-built security assessment tool.
I recently tried my hand at gamified learning via AWS Cloud Quest. This game simulates interactions with various stakeholders on a huge virtual Island. Each stakeholder has a different problem that can be solved by deploying the right AWS services or re-configuring production environments that have encountered new problems as the stakeholders needs have changed.
I was surprised at how this gamified learning was still able to tech me a thing or two along the way, I was also very happy to see I haven't lost my Linux knowledge!
I enjoyed the game so much I studied and sat the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner Exam and passed it!
I recently started a tech & cybersecurity blog where I will be posting various knowledge sharing articles, security & privacy best practices, general thoughts on tech trends and products, and experiments with hardware and code. This was a lot of fun to build and I even put it behind CloudFlare so I learned a thing or two.
Enjoy!
